Dealing With Stressful Days
These days we all have a lot of stress. Between work, personal life, the news, social media. It is important to find time for your self and de-stress. Even if it is just for 15-20 minutes. It will make a dramatic difference. Do a little meditation, a cleansing breath; bring yourself to the “now.” Worrying about a problem is not going to help you solve it. You need to refocus, refresh, and tackle the problem after de-stressing.
There are many books, podcasts on meditation and other ways of healing the mind and the spirit.
Another way to decompress is to find an activity you enjoy. Something that will take your mind off your current problem. It could be as simple as binge watching your favorite show, reading a book, audio book, pod cast, art, knitting. Even if you are not an artist, it can be very enjoyable. I watched a few youtube videos and gave it a shot. The painting came out horrible, but the entire process was tons of fun.
I also gave photography a shot. You do not need anything fancy, even the camera on your phone will do. Once again there are a lot of youtube videos and Master Class has a few tutorials.
